Great barbering is about more than a haircut. It’s about craftsmanship, consistency, and creating an experience that people look forward to.
That belief has been at the heart of Tens® since we opened our first doors on 4th July 2020.
Launching a new business during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic wasn’t the conventional route, but we saw opportunity where others saw uncertainty. While the country was in lockdown, we transformed our first premises on Chase Side, Enfield into a modern, welcoming space built around quality, professionalism and exceptional customer service.
From the very beginning, the response from our clients was overwhelming. The support we received allowed us to grow far sooner than we had imagined, leading to the opening of our second location inside Norton Gym, Welwyn Garden City, in April 2021.
As our reputation continued to grow, so did demand. Within just eighteen months, it became clear that we had outgrown the space. Rather than compromise on the experience we wanted to offer, we took another bold step and relocated to a significantly larger premises in the heart of Welwyn Garden City town centre, opening in January 2023.

Today, Tens® has established itself as one of the area’s leading independent barber brands, built on traditional barbering values with a modern approach. Every haircut, beard trim and consultation is delivered with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence that inspired us from day one.
While we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, we believe we’re only at the beginning of our journey. Our vision is to continue expanding into new communities, bringing the Tens® experience to more town centres across the UK in the years ahead.
